Christmas Ordering — Frequently Asked Questions
When should I place my order?
As early as possible! Christmas is our busiest season, and products may sell out before our final dispatch or trading dates.
If you need an order for a particular occasion, please contact our team before purchasing so we can confirm availability and timings.
What is the last Christmas dispatch date?
Our final Christmas postal dispatch is 16 December 2026.
This is the date parcels leave us, not the delivery date. Please order well in advance to allow time for preparation and delivery, particularly during the busy festive period.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed service.
Can I collect from the shop?
Yes. Please select in-store collection at checkout and follow the collection arrangements in your order confirmation.
Our last trading day before our Christmas break is 20 December 2026. Collections must take place during our opening hours.
We cannot guarantee that every product will remain available during our final trading week. Ordering ahead is recommended.
When will Advent Calendars be dispatched?
Advent Calendar postal orders will be dispatched in batches from 18 November, with the final Advent Calendar dispatch on 24 November 2026, to allow time for delivery ahead of 1 December.
Selecting an earlier date at checkout does not bring forward this dispatch schedule. Please contact our team before ordering if you need an earlier dispatch.
Calendars are also available to buy or collect in-store before postal dispatch begins, subject to availability.
Can I choose the chocolates in my Advent Calendar?
Online calendars contain 24 chocolates selected by our team. You can also purchase an optional 160 g chocolate selection for an additional £15, chosen by us.
In-store, you can choose your own 24 truffles and add extra chocolates from our self-service station. In-store extras are charged separately by weight.
What should I check before completing my order?
Please check your delivery or collection choice, email address and the recipient’s full postal address, including the postcode and any flat or building number.
If you notice an error, contact us immediately. We may be unable to amend an address once an order has been dispatched. Any additional delivery charges arising from an incorrect address supplied at checkout will be discussed with you before rearranging delivery.
How should I plan gifts with a shorter shelf life?
Our Brazilian brigadeiros and brigadeiro-filled products have a shorter shelf life than some of our other chocolates.
You can order ahead, but please choose delivery or collection close to the date they will be enjoyed. Check the individual product information and follow the storage instructions and best-before date supplied.
Where can I find ingredient and allergen information?
Please read the information on each product page before purchasing. Different chocolate selections and optional extras can have different allergens.
If you have a food allergy or dietary requirement, please contact our team before ordering.
What if there is a problem with my order?
Please contact our team promptly with your order number and details of the issue. For damaged items, photographs of the product and packaging will help us investigate.

I’m Marcela Romagnoli da Costa, founder of Emporium Norwich.
What began during my maternity leave with a simple idea of sharing brigadeiros has grown into an award-winning chocolate shop and coffee house in the heart of Norfolk. Emporium Norwich is more than chocolate — it’s about presence, beauty, and creating experiences that heal.
Alongside my family and a small, passionate team, I craft every detail with care: from the ingredients we select to the way we welcome each guest.
